jr firefighting

Hey all, i was wondering some different oppinions, it is a law that jr firefighters can not wear and SCBA on or in an IDLH, i have a hard time understanding that law becasue i am as of now a jr firefighter.   I feel that if i am on the scene of a working fire or any other haz- scene that i would have the right to be under the protection of an SCBA,

Seriously, do a search about this topic, it has been covered quite intensively. There is absolutely NO reason for a jr FF to even be in an environment even remotely requiring an SCBA.

Better yet Nathan don't be anywhere near a IDLH enviroment. Classrooms yes fireground no. Be patient and learn, your day will come.

Well. ideally, you shouldn't be exposed to an IDLH atmosphere as a junior in the first place. You are tagged a junior to learn the ways, not experience harsh environments, that comes when you become active.
That's just MY opinion.
