WARSAW, Ind. - Investigators say they were trying to determine what started a fire at a northern Indiana shopping plaza that spread to four businesses and caused nearly $1 million in damage.

Warsaw fire officials say the fire started late Monday in the rear of a Mexican food store in the Lake View Shopping Center. It also damaged a restaurant, a music store and a pawn shop, but no injuries were reported.

City fire marshal Michael Wilson tells WSBT-TV of South Bend that by the time firefighters arrived the blaze had already spread to the attic area, making it difficult to put out.
