Interior And Command comminucation requirements

Is there NFPA and/or OSHA requirements for comms between the interior attack crew and command?
And what if the crew enters on the wrong channel? Do you stay on that channel or do you ask them to switch while fighting the fire?

If the dispacher gives the wrong channel they ask everyone to switch to the correct channel. They wont give out the wrong channel till everyone clears to the new.

Here it is up to command to call the change. We are limited to 2 tac channels away from the repeater.
We thinking of putting all the portables on tac1 and have a second radio for command to be up two channels.

Your departments SOP's and SOG's would define what takes place. Here for us we are always on a given channel, the only time we switch channels is when a RIT team is called. Otherwise for us, Command and all fire fighters whether they are on an interior crew or would outside on defense are all on the same channel. Our department states that the channel remain free and clear with the exception of reports from officers on all crews, unless there is something of the utmost importance
