Reported by FirefighterCloseCalls.com

It is with regret that we advise you that 37-year-old Rockford (IL) Firefighter Terrance Freeman died around noon last Sunday from an apparent heart attack. He had completed a shift about 4 hours earlier and was visiting family. Firefighter Freeman, who is married and has a 2-year-old son, joined the RFD in 2005 and was training to be a paramedic. He was recently recognized for excellence in customer service.

A visitation will be held from 1400-1600 on Saturday, followed by a memorial service at 1600 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home. As always, our sincere condolences.
