How to get firefighting job out of nj

hey i've been looking to get out of nj for a while to firefight somewheres else. But i just can't seem to figure out which states accept my nj certs. I have my ff1 and all the certs that go with that like hazmat ops and awareness ics100,200,700. i have my NJ EMT-B as well. i have other certs that probably dont matter out of state like evo and cevo. I could just use some help figuring this out..any help or ideas appreciated

I'm from Fairfax County, Va. just outside of Washington DC. Our department has 1400+ members. Starting pay I think is around 50K. Recruit school is 5 months long. Most states won't accept other states certs. The certs you have now are pretty minimum and if you really want a job you need to step up your certifications and become a paramedic. Our dept. won't even consider you unless you have this. Once your hired you will be trained and get FF1,FF2,FF3 within the 1st year. Good luck
