How to ask to see a Firehouse in Manhattan,New York?

I m a volunteer fireman who lives in the middle of the alps in north of Italy.

in April 2016 I will be happy to visit for the first time a small part of the States. For greatest happiness of my girlfriend we will come to New York.

We will be in Manhattan for a week.

But i have a dream....i m a fireman and in NY  is located  the most famous fire department  in the world.

How and to whom do I ask to be lucky enough to visit a firehouse there?

I need send an email or just  get a box of sweets? ;-)

Most Manhattan firehouses are used to having visitors. Bring some cake, cookies, pastries, etc and you'll likely be welcomed if you knock at the door. Don't overstay your welcome as they are very busy companies.
