We held the Grand Opening for our new training center yesterday. The ceremony was well attended. It was especially nice to see several of our retirees and old friends at the ceremony.

Thanks to all of the hard work from Battalion Chief Mick Mayers and A-Shift, our office staff and Facilities Management staff who helped so much, the shop and fire prevention staff who helped with parking and shuttling the visitors, and especially to the Training staff and Engine 8 personnel who worked so hard to get everything ready and to make sure that the demonstrations went as planned. You guys are GREAT! It's nice to work with such tremendous professionals!
