Celebrating Christmas is something that is done at fire stations by firefighters all over the world.
Fire Station, Ballarat, South Australia
CFA (Australian) Fire Engine with Santa waving at local kids.
Some departments keep it simple, using only a single Christmas wreath on the engine.
Many departments with old retired engines use them for parades.
This includes night time Christmas parades. This would be an extreme example.
Everyone in the world loves firefighters, Santa and Christmas.
How does your department celebrate the Christmas holiday?

Hangs a sign outside with a fire safety message and decorated with lights and garland.
Some rigs have a wreath on the grill, some don't. All stations have a wreath out front with green and red lights....red lights indicate a residential fire and the program is done to spread awareness of fire safety over the holiday period.
Other than that we have a departmental Christmas party and most stations and shifts do their own holiday get togethers. Otherwise that is it......no lights on the stations nor rigs, no big yuletide formalities, etc. Simple and basic.
