A firefighters battled a large blaze at a warehouse in northeast Houston early this morning.


The fire broke out at the commercial building in the 9800 block of Wallisville near Trailmobile about 1 a.m., officials said.

No injuries were reported, and authorities told television station KTRK that there were no hazardous materials inside.

Officials said at one point the flames were so intense firefighters were ordered into a defensive position to battled the blaze. The roof was caving in at one point during the fire.

Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
