JACKSON, Tenn. - Fire officials in Jackson say a house fire that killed a man was accidental, but the cause isn't yet known.

Firefighters were called to the house in the south part of the city Wednesday morning after a neighbor saw smoke pouring from it.

The Jackson Sun reported that the body of 60-year-old Willie Long was found later in the home.

Capt. Lamar Childress of the Jackson Fire Department says the blaze began in a front room of the house and an investigation is open into the cause.
