That was funny.

Now MY department and others near mine are 100% professional in our conduct and response... but there are a couple of other departments we get called for mutual aid to... THEY are a little too close to this...

One of those laugh/cry moments.

I'll give this video a thumbs up.

This clip is in the Video section and has generated some pretty funny comments. (The ones taking umbrage at the clip being the funniest, of course).

Ralph that is actually in NH. The bar is in Newmarket and the firestation is in Newfield, NH. I just wonder if it was filmed with permission or not? Once again, social media or the camera could get guys in allot of trouble.

We have to remember it is scripted as a comedy... so it is not supposed by to be Reality TV. I think we all have seen some of this.... and that is why it is funny.

And I will admit, I have seen some of these skits in real life in both a volunteer and paid world.

It will never catch on as a sitcom though. It is only funny to firefighters who understand the inside joke.

Thanks for your well thought out and written reply. Good to know you at least have an inferiority complex a sense of humor about you.

Kindly note that:
a) the videos are damn funny and perhaps closer to the truth than you're comfortable with;
b) Everyone should be able to laugh at themselves, even if it makes someone uncomfortable;
c) I notice you didn't have the balls to attack FETC (or any others), who first posted this, do you have a particular grudge against me *sob*?
d) I made no comment to or about you, yet you choose to make a personal attack on me. Be advised you've violated the TOS on this site. Also as to your (half-)wit, "little man hiding behind a keyboard. I think that was you in the mirror over your computer, better check again.
e) Thank you for your continuity. It's reassuring that you are always the same each time you address something I've written.
f) I wish I could give my Dad attitude, sadly he passed away 4 years ago next month from pancreatic cancer, but thanks for your kindly thoughts.

As I've mentioned to you before, Jack, it seems as though you may be the "Frankenstein" of FFN. You just seem to bring out the "best" in certain people who can't take(what they see as) the heat. I'm tellin' ya, might want to start watching out for large groups of villagers advancing towards you with pitchforks and torches. heheh.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm a volly, and I think thses clips are funny as hell.(however funny hell might be)
