Hoarding Prevents California Woman from Fleeing House Fire
DANA POINT, Calif. - Authorities say firefighters found the body of an elderly woman while mopping up a blaze in a Dana Point home.
Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg McKeown says the fire was reported at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday and was quickly doused by firefighters.
McKeown says there were piles of debris strewn about the home in what he described as "hoarding conditions."
The woman's age and identity have not been determined.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
