I started this discussion because I need all your help I can get. For starters I am a volunteer in Managua, Nicaragua a third world country, second I volunteer in a Fire Station that only lives by supplies that are donated we can’t support the station neither does the government. Not only do we lack of material to work with most of us don’t even know how to work with them.
So if you could send me material to give classes to my partners. I need topics from the basics to topics more specified such as RIT, EMS AND FIREFIGHTER SKILLS. I NEED DRILLS NOT ONLY THE ONES I CAN FIND ON FIREFIGHTERNATION I NEED MORE. I need pictures that can show me how to work.
You could send me the material to my email: camasa88@hotmail.com
Thanks for your time and will appreciate your help,
Yours truly,
Carlos Manuel Santos

Carlos,
I hope this will help. If you go to www.firebooks.com, you will be able to order many books related to everything from what tools to use, how to use them, fireground operations at any level and many other resources. These will cost money of course and that may be tough since you say the government isn't helping your department. Otherwise, I'd say keep posting questions on firefighternation. This site can be a huge rescource and allow you to gain alot from many experienced firefighters.

Caleb stole my thunder! I will also add www.firefighting.com (they have a few training things each week, but firefighterclosecalls is way better). Also there a couple of groups on FFN with training ideas.
