I am updating our annual poster-size calendar for the business that I work for and am looking for some awesome fire pictures.
The calendars are distributed free of charge to all our customers, vendors and other Firefighters in the US and Canada. (Bombarider had allowed us to use one of their photos of a CL-415 Waterbomber for 2009). Whichever photo is chosen, a statement is listed under the photo with the following statement "Photo courtesy of ____________" and copies of the calendar can be sent to that person.
The only rule is that the picture must be owned by you, with written authorization (email is fine) for the use of the picture. Digital pictures work best.
If you are interested in helping me with this, contact me please. I have seen alot of great pictures on here.
I'm looking for a picture that is eye-catching, that will make someone stop to take a second look. Anyone who is in our line of work and sees a great picture of a fire, whether its forest fires, structural fires or automotive fires, really appreciates how danger the line of work is.
Our business deals with all types of fire-related sectors. The picture we used for this year was a Bombardier CL-415 waterbomber dropping water in a fall scene. I've seen the picture on this site as well.
Hope this helps you. Thanks for taking the time to search for me.
Hi Todd - I have one pic that we are interested in using. What would you like mentioned as a credit for the picture? We can say something like "Photo courtesy of Todd of Firefighter Nation" or just your name. Whatever you want.
Hi Mick - I agree, there is alot of great pictures on here. The only issue is having the owner of the picture reply back to me. I will continue the search though and will hopefully start a file of those I do have approval for.
Thanks for replying and hope you have a great day.
