The California Cadet Academy is exposing kids to a college environment
while providing basic training in Firefighting, Law Enforcement and
Emergency Medical Service. The Academy is run by Deputy Sheriffs, Police
Officers & Firefighters from the Bay Area who volunteer their time
to keep kids off the streets.

Our academies are one week in duration and are designed to get kids
excited about education. We train kids aged 13 to 19 who are looking for
a rewarding career and chance to make a difference in our community.
The students learn lifesaving skills while preparing themselves for the
future. You can visit our website at www.Calcadet.com to see pictures and videos of our past cadets in action.

Quick Facts: 100% of our senior cadets have gone on to graduate from
high school. 73% of those graduates are attending college. 33% of our
graduates have entered police and fire explorer programs and 20% have
become full-time Firefighters or Paramedics.

We are requesting your assistance to send a kid to camp. We provide
sponsorships to underprivileged kids who would otherwise not be able to
attend our program. Every year we get more requests then we are able to
fund due to financial shortfalls.

We want to help every kid in California succeed in life and become productive members of our community.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2011 Academy.  Please go to www.calcadet.com for more information.
