Hi everyone! I just purchased a Cairns N5A Leather Helmet off of Ebay. The owner before be put a Bronx bend in it. Which I like..No problems there. I just a little concerned with a crack on the back of the helmet where the skull cap meets the brim..heres some photos.

What should I do? Not worry about the crack near the Skull Cap/Brim merging zone, and just paint the cracks in the paint..or am I worried Over nothing?

Thanks in Advance!

Looks like structural damage babe... sorry. Ebay is scary for stuff like this...careful. Try Craiglist so you can find a local, and look at it before purchase (in hand) next round. I wouldn't risk painting and reusing. It's your melon hunni.
I brought my helmet to my Freinds from the dept next to me. Who have been using Leather helmets for the longest time. He took a look And said, I quote" Oh man that aint nothing..dont worry about it. Its just paint cracks." So he says the helmets fine. The space I saw was a natural gap in the leather. And the crack I Saw, isnt leather Thats cracked, Its epoxy someone put on it, because they thought the gap was "ugly" So..im all set. Thanks for your help everyone..but this Disc is closed now..Im all set.
