Hey guys,

Hoping someone can help me. I am producing a show for Spike TV and am looking for a firefighter who is skilled in repelling from a helicopter to teach the host of our show, Jesse James, how to do it.

We have the helicopter and the pilot, just need the guy to show us how its done.

I spoke with the LAFD and they said that no one has repelled in 20 years. Even if this is the case and you don't repel now, but do know and have done it before, I'd like to connect with you to see if you would like to do this on camera for our show.

The best way to reach me if you are interested or know someone who is is to contact me via email at abreality2@gmail.com.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

In California I would have thought that CalFire would be the best agency to approach? Or you could come out here - I know that we have people who are so keen to go into rough country and use hand tools that they do that sort of thing. Not me!
Where could out there be?
Contact me off-group. I know a helicopter rescue team that might be able to help.
Australia. Ben has made a good offer, I'd follow up with him if I was you.
Hey Ben, I'm new to this site. How do I contact you off group?
I have 14 years in the fire service with as many years rappelling, teaching ropes, knots, and rigging. I have been taught ropes and rescue at the Illinois State Fire Institute. My longest rappell to date was 180 feet. I have used both the rescue 8 device and the rack device. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to ask.
Mr. Berg,
I had sent you an e-mail to the gmail address you posted. I hope you received it and it helps. It just offers another option as well.
See the private message I sent you.
You can't find someone local....?? That's odd....anyone that has a military background could help you out with this....Paul
