(AP) ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn.

The state fire marshal says a charcoal grill started an apartment fire in St. Louis Park that injured 11 people.

The grill was on a third-floor apartment deck, which is a city ordinance violation.

The fire broke out Saturday evening at Park Glen Apartments.

Two residents were treated for smoke inhalation. Nine firefighters suffered heat exhaustion.

At least 80 out of 290 units in the three-floor complex have either water or fire damage. The fire department says there were 190 residents inside at the time of the fire.

City officials are continuing their investigation.
