Grants

Hello to all firefighters,

I am with a volunteer Fire station and we are having real troubles with funding. So we are trying to write some grants and we don’t know how to start or what we need to include in one. So me question is to all out there, is there any one that has a successful grant that they can send to my email as a guide for me to follow so that we can get some equipment for our department. Also where to look for the grant. Thank to all fore the help and remember be safe out there.

Some equipment vendors, if your are buying from them, have in house personnel to assist you in grant writting. I recall a section on Firehouse or Firerescue1.com that has something about grants. From what I understand you must have every i dotted and t crossed.
If I come across one of our old grant applications, I will send it.
