With this being the 10 year anniversary, a small group of us from Central Alabama area will be going to pay our respects, and enjoy the city.
To the FLAMERS-this is not a cocktail party to "Me Too" on their coat tails, so don't go there!
I have been to Manhattan/Brooklyn 5 times since 2002, and I am a pretty fair guide to the area, and the ins and outs. I am pretty good at knowing the best FDNY stations to visit and which ones to avoid. (Not a slam-they literally never stop running at some stations)
