Georgia Firefighters Battle Office Building Fire
NORCROSS, Ga. - Gwinnett County firefighters are battling a fire at an office building in the Norcross area.
Gwinnett fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge says fire crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story office building near Peachtree Parkway when they arrived about 3 a.m. Friday.
He says firefighters continue to put out hot spots.
Rutledge says the building is across the street from a fire station and houses administrative offices for AkzoNobel, a car refinishing and coatings company. He says there are no reports of injuries and that the company has informed firefighters there's not supposed to be anyone in the building overnight.
