Hey guys. Just wondering, what was maybe one of the strangest or most rediculous calls uve ever been on??

for me, id have to say around a year ago, a little girl was home alone and she tried a ring on her finger. she couldnt get it off, so she called 9-1-1. i thought it was humorous myself.

i attached a recording of a call that we (tri comm) had mar 9, 2008 at 0817. i guess the student was sleeping hard (so they tell me) lol. i tell ya, thats either a good way to get out of skool o rhe just wanted a lot of attention.

Once we were call to a unknown medical at a local hotel. When we arrived are Fire Chief went in with local police to find a female lying in bed cuffed to the bed in a leather outfit. As we walked in we were bitting are lips trying not to laugh. So we notice a second person under the blankes. When we uncover that person we found that her male partner had caught his tongue ring onto her periceing that she had down under and was unable to release from her. Now her and her partner where in a up roar laughing. Are Fire Chief has a great poker face yells out to the remaining crew in the hallway someone need to go get the JAWS!!! Lets just say that they stop laughing at this point.... Needless to say with a small unhooking of the periceing they were free.
HA. holy moses thatsawesome! that made my day
Dispatcher advises responding chief "Caller reports heavy black smoke showing". On location chief finds resident had fed his fireplace a plastic chair.
dispatched to a "male patient possible heart attack while making love" needless to say, EVERYONE from this small volunteer department showed up. got on scene and found a male in bed, obviously deceased, and a woman in the bedroom.
while trying to gather the usual information, the woman answered "i dont know" to "does he have any past medical history?"
"any medications?" i dont know again.
"do you know how old he is?" "i dont know"
"ma'am, um, do you even know his name?"----" no sir, we just met tonight and we came here and......."

A few years ago some of guys got called to an unknown medical complaint. When they arrived there where a two teenage kids there. Bodie was directed to the bathroom were he met one of the young teenagers and asked what was the problem today. Well did he get a surprize. The kid dropped the towel around his waste to reveal his penis. and on the end where a pait of flat magnets stuck together with the head entrapped. Bodie kinda stood back for a minute to think about what to do. He finaly pryed the magnets off. They snapped back together smartly making a load snap. He related later they had a hell of a time reopening them ( They where off the kid ). From that point on Bodie earned the name "Magnet Man". He was a bit embarrassed . I was Chief at that time and asked to come to an awards dinner for those being given honors for there volunteer duties by the Savannah River Plant a huge area for nuclear production ( aka the Bomb Plant) ran by DOE. I was asked to help the preident off the company present his award and a story about him. So in front of all the upty ups from DOE and Westinghouse. I embarrassed him once more ( The devil made me do it )
Squad got called out for assistance to VFD for a reported transformer on fire/brush fire...
Upon arrival, the fire was out and the grass was chared all around the pole, plus two squirrels laying there dead and black.

Turned out the squirrels were making love on the transformer and shorted the wire, causing it to ignite.
That was the only explanation since the squirrels were doggy-style on top of one another with the one still "inserted" in the other.
We were called to a house that was under construction. A thief tried to gain access through the chemney and got stuck and we had to get him out. If only he had tried the doors, they were unlocked.
a while back we had a call about a guy who fell down a hill toward the river shore and could not get back up. so after a few minutes and only 4 people showed up at the station we realarted and responded with the engine-rescue and ems is on route we see him at the road sise all safe and sound turns out his dog went down the 10 ft. embackment to get a drink out of the river and he followed it and he couldnt climb back up
So about a week ago we got paged out at 12:30 in the morning for a 10-50 roll-over. Caller reported they saw tail light fly thru the air and land in a field. It was in an area were we have had roll-over. So when a few guys got to the station we rolled in are main engine with are jaws. When we got in the area we turned on all of our floor light and drove slow to look for the car. So we were rolling along and see something in the field never going to guess what it was. It was a header cart that farmers use to get their heads for the combines from field to field. So just to be cover are buts we check 2 miles in both directions. That was it get got all of us out of bed 2 cops, 2 fire trucks, and 1 paged ambulance and one that was on the way back from another call. All I got to say is I hope if I am in a 10-50 I hope the caller would stop and try to help me not just drive by.
