Stewart had a stroke Saturday (April 25th) during a course he was teaching fireman/emergency responders. He has some bleeding on the right side of his brain, which is affecting the leftside of his body.

A fund raiser will be held at the Friendship City Park to benefit the Stewart Norris family with expenses due to a sudden illness.

Stewart has been involved in the fire service for over 20 years. All proceeds will go directly to the family.

There will be a cookout and other events!!!!

All DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

The event will be sponsored by the Ouachita and Caddo Valley Fire Departments.

Sorry for the delay in sending an update on Stewart’s condition. I had hoped to have better news to report this morning, but that is not the case so far for today.

Yesterday (Thursday, April 30) Stewart had a bad day…he is having some trouble breathing, headache, his back is hurting, and he is nausea. He ate his lunch but refused his supper. We have been told he had a difficult night and that somehow during the night he rolled on to his stomach, which created more problems.

I’ll send an update as soon as possible. Please continue to raise Stewart’s name up in your prayers. He is getting frustrated and starting to worry about things. Toni is reaching the point of exhaustion and is very stressed out as well. We know God is in total control and we can feel His hands wrapped around us! Praise God in all things and He will see you through it!!!

Stewart had a fair weekend. The doctors are still having trouble regulating his blood pressure and he is still having headaches. He his scheduled to have his 2nd sleep apena test done before leaving the hospital. Stewart will not be moved out of CVICU until his blood pressure gets under control. You can send him an email through BMCA-LR email webservice (room number is CVICU 18).
Continue your prayers....we need them!
Last night Stewart was moved to a private room on the 5th floor!!! Praise the Lord! Stewart has come such a long way in a short time. We praise God for him healing Stewart so quickly. Although we know there is still much healing to be done, all things are possible with HIM in your life.

Stewart is down to just two (2) blood pressure pills and still has physical therapy twice a day. He is working on getting around his room with some assistance and welcomes company. His room number is 510.
Thanks for sharing this good news...prayer works!
