you mean stay overnight at the firehouse? no were volunteer, but the paid station in the city doesn't let there juniors sleep at the station... if we are on a fire run on a weekend night then yea we are allowed to stay until they finish the scene or our advisers send us home. we are required to wear full gear, its for our safety on a fire scene. the only reason junior firefighters shouldn't be allowed to wear gear would be if they were not allowed on a fire run. otherwise all ff personel should have on gear

Overnight. Uh. no. We got 2 bunk beds and they are full of crap. lol. No were volunteer department. Yes we do wear gear.

overnight...yeah at Fire Camp and we are required to wear gear anytime we train or go on calls and during salvage and overhaul we are some times required to wear SCBAs

we wear gear and we hang out with everyone alot most of the night :)

no one on my department stays overnight,most of us are volunteer and our juniors do alot of work on a call.we are on the hose most of the time or just running equipment to the others.

no......i am a junior my self and no fireman at our department stays overnight........yes you do get to were gear but you will never enter a structure fire untill you become a level 1 firefighter......but you do get to fight forest fires.......

Our department doesn't let us stay overnight, but we have to wear gear at all times on a scene ...

Well we are not allowed to stay overnight at the firehouse... at all. We have to wear our gear to calls we are not allowed to really help but we are allowed to stand to the side and watch what goes on. We are getting a color that we have to wear so that other firefighters know that we are explorers. But no we are not allowed to stay and we always have to wear our gear to calls.

unfortunately, we have nothing but one couch. so no overnighters for our junior members. or anyone for that matter

Not me, I'm volunteer. We have 7 paidmen. 1 of them are there at night, and at least 2 during the day. Us volunteers will come if there is a call, or go to the firehouse just to play 42 (dominoes). But of coarse, we are a small town about 8,000 people live in the city.

We don't have bunks to sleep on so no we can't stay at the station JUST YET We are just a volunteer fire department. And there is only one Jr. FireFighter at my Department and that is me. I have a helmet and have to get my gear soon I bought my helmet a while ago just not my gear so....
