Florida Firefighter Hospitalized After Battling House Fire

ST. CLOUD, Fla. - A St. Cloud firefighter is being treated for breathing difficulties and overexertion after battling an early morning house fire.

Officials say firefighter/paramedic Ben Faber was taken to the hospital early Wednesday with injuries that were not life threatening.

The family living in the Pine Lakes Estates home called 911 and when firefighters arrived, flames were pouring through the roof.

Officials say the home is uninhabitable.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.
