A suburban West Palm Beach mobile home went up in flames twice Sunday morning, leaving a family of three displaced.
Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue crews were called to the home near Forest Hill Boulevard and Jog Road just after 1 a.m. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze, but not before the fire caused major damage to the mobile home. Then, hours later, a second fire consumed the back of the home.
Firefighters are calling the second fire suspicious. They suspect one of the fires was set intentionally.
"There were some indications it may have been an arson type situation, someone came in maybe to finish the structure off, that type of thing," said Chief Sam Eaton of Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue.
Both fires are under investigation.
The Red Cross is helping the family find a place to stay. No injuries were reported.
