Five Philadelphia Firefighters Shocked During Rowhouse Fire

PHILADELPHIA - Five firefighters have been hospitalized after suffering electrical shocks while fighting a blaze in South Philadelphia.

The rowhouse fire occurred around 5 p.m. Thursday.

Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers told The Philadelphia Inquirer that the firefighters would be kept overnight for observation as a precaution. But he says that "everybody's good."

The fire destroyed a rowhouse and displaced several residents.
