The driver of a fire engine says water shifted in the pumper's tank, causing her to lose control and crash.
Five firefighters were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital with what Kentucky state troopers said were minor injuries after the incident in Brandenburg at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters were reponding to free a person reported trapped in a wrecked vehicle.
Engine driver Theresa Day told troopers she was driving on state Route 448 and pulled into the left lane to pass slower traffic when the water shifted, causing her to lose control. The fire engine overturned in a ditch.
The other firefighters' names weren't released by the Kentucky State Police.
