So I start working on Monday, April 6th. I was told dark pants, blue or black, and a white shirt. I don't have any station clothes, and was wondering if just blank pants, black shoes, and a white polo would work. I will get uniforms, but I thought I would get some input from you all! Thanks!

Well, it is Tartan Day. You could wear your best plaid.
As long as they are not denim, and more like slacks, I would think they would work.
You may want to make sure they're 100% cotton it's better for the heat if you get a working fire..
good luck hope u like it.
A pair of Dickies from WalMart and a white polo would do just fine I think. You can also get a decent pair of boots for about 30-40 clams. Good luck on your first day and welcome to the fire service.
Julie Good luck!!!! Welcome aboard!!
Good luck! Remember to STAY SAFE!
Congrats on the job. I think what you are going to wear will be fine, just look professional. Good luck and TCSS.
Long as you look like you're trying to look like the professional firefighter, I think that would probably work just fine. Congratulations!!!
Awesome! Thanks so much for the congrats and comments! I'm super excited now! Yay!
Glad to hear everything is working out well for you now, did they ever tell you why they kept pushing the date back?
I would think that would work. Congrates Julie and welcome aboard the Service, Good Luck.
