Is there any departments using the FireTrax accountability system for your rehab operations? If so how are you using them and any helpful ideas on implementing the system.
Jason,
I am aware of a few agencies using InterTRAX (formerly Fire-TRAX) for Rehab. I am hesitant to provide agency contacts on an open forum without their permission. That being said there is enough interest in expanding the use that we are looking for input for building a Rehab "module" specific to the need. My engineers need design specs. I have given them a start, but am looking for input to build the software to meet national need. Are you aware of commonly accepted "best practices" that we could work with? Any input you have would be great.
Thanks, Mike Salamander Technologies, Inc (the Fire-TRAX people)
Dont know if you remember me, but I took a train the trainer from you back in August in the Wichita, KS. area.
I have been in contact with my rep from Midwest Card and your own Ray Haring about getting started with the Intertrax. I was just wondering who else is using the system and any problems sugestions they might have.
I think the rehab module would be a great software addition for the system. I think the time in, time out, and base line vitals (BP, pulse, temp, SPCO2) would be a great start. Maybe weather conditions can be documented some where in the system also.
Let me know what I can do to help with ideas and I'll send them your way!
Jason,
Yes I do remember. That is saying a lot for sombody my age. If you want to give me a call or send me a direct email I can share some of what has been happening in the Rehab arena. We will be building out the module this winter. I do have a couple of participants feeding their needs to me now. I would more than welcome your input. After all that is how we make things usable. They people that do it are the ones that have to use it. Give me a bump.
Mike
