NORFOLK, Va. - It took firefighters more than three hours to extinguish a blaze at a Norfolk Naval Station warehouse.

Base spokesman Kenneth Tyndall says the fire was reported about 10:20 a.m. Thursday and was extinguished by 2 p.m. Nobody was injured.

The Navy says the warehouse was empty except for empty boxes and pallets.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
