Would like to know if anyone else has had experience with bad coverage of a fire or other emergency. Not negative press, but just plain poor reporting, which can be the same as negative press.  

Just posted a piece on pipenozzle.com about Murphy's Law of Firefighting and Journalism focused on the bad coverage of the Weston, Missouri fatal fire controversy.  

 In my experience, most journalist don't have the knowledge to cover fire stories with any authority.
