NEW YORK - Firefighters have extinguished a 2-alarm house fire in Queens that injured one firefighter.

The FDNY says the firefighter was taken to a hospital but details of his injuries are not yet known.

Three other people also suffered injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available.

The fire started on the first floor and quickly spread through the second and third floors of the three-story building.

The department says 25 units and 106 firefighters battled the blaze at 37th Avenue and 68th Street.

The call came in at 6:45 a.m. and the fire was brought under control about an hour later.
