Las Vegas--A fire spokeswoman says four people suffered smoke inhalation in a two-alarm fire in multi-story condominium tower east of the Las Vegas Strip.

Clark County spokeswoman Jennifer Knight tells The Associated Press four people were taken to the hospital while Clark County and Las Vegas firefighters doused flames in a seventh-floor unit at the 10-story building.

The fire was reported just after 6:15 a.m. Friday at the Marie Antoinette Condominiums at Harmon Avenue and Koval Road.

Knight says the cause of the fire is being investigated.

Property records show the tower has 140 condominium units. It's located about midway between the Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock casino resorts.
