Hello all i need some ideas for a Red Light, I want one thats bring enough that can go on my dash.

I believe out state Law requires it to be all red and have a back shield on it to prevent it from blinding the driver.

I have looked around, but dont know what is good and what is not/

Can nayone recommend some?

Thanks ALot

My State law says this

The municipal officers or a municipal official designated by the municipal officers, with the approval of the fire chief, may authorize an active member of a municipal or volunteer fire department to use one red or combination red and white flashing auxiliary light mounted as near as practicable above the front registration plate on the front of the vehicle, behind the rearview mirror or on the dashboard or 2 flashing red or combination red and white auxiliary lights mounted on the front of the vehicle above the front bumper and below the hood. The light or lights may be displayed but may be used only while the member is en route to or at the scene of a fire or other emergency. A light mounted on the dashboard or behind the rearview mirror must be shielded so that the emitted light does not interfere with the operator's vision. The use of lights may be revoked at any time by the fire chief.

Would that mean i could use something like this http://storesense2.megawebservers.com/HS4886/Detail.bok?no=29 with both lights as Red??
In my pickup truck I have 3 Dash Miser Plus lights. I HIGHLY recommend these lights if you want strobes. If you are getting LED's, GET A GENERATION 3 Light, anything else is a joke, IMHO. Rotators aren't bad if the budget is tight. I started out with a dash laser, I added extra reflectors to the mirror and boxed in the top. I got that one used from another FD member for 20 dollars too. Look on EBAY. You can save a bundle buying used, but buyer beware also.

If it is recommended, the lights from the feddig are very good, but I recently bought several red led beacon https://www.aoleco.com/led-beacon/  from Aole, because they can custom the color. The overall feeling of use is also very good. I am amazed by the warning emergency lights made by Aole.
