The Social Network & Community JUST for Firefighters

I'm new to the site and don't actually know anyone that belongs to the site. I would like to have a good network people from my fire family...so if you have a chance...add me as a friend. I also have a group that I'm trying to start called Company Chow. I have a web site www.companychow.com as well. I'm hoping it will become the go to place where firefighters can share recipes. If people have firefighter developed food products that they would like to sell, www.companychow.com will post your product up on the site for free.

Hey Carol, that would be great. By the way, the site isn't just for posting recipes, you can go on there and try out some recipes too. There are some pretty simple ones on there that are easy for a new cook like yourself. If you end up trying one, remember to log back on and give the recipe a rating. A firefighter from New York just posted two new ones today. I'm looking forward to trying them myself!

Who could use a $100 gift card to Home Depot? Right now www.companychow.com is having a random drawing for a $100 Home Depot gift card. For every recipe that you post on the site, you receive an entry into the random drawing that will be held on Aug 31st at 9pm Pacific Standard Time. Last month we only had 9 entries into the drawing and Engineer Steve Seeba from West Covina Fire Department in CA won. So far this month, we only have two entries and they are from the same firefighter in NY. The odds seem pretty good. No strings attached! You don't have to sign up for anything and it's free to enter. I'm just doing this to encourage firefighters to enter recipes so we can have a good base of recipes from across the US or further.
