I was just wondering how many of you out there have a photographer for your company, or just like taking fire photos. If so, what are your company's policies for that photographer? Where on the fire ground are they permitted? Do they have full PPE?
I'm the photographer for my company, I have full PPE (as I am also training to become a regular firefighter), I'm permitted anywhere on the fireground, except inside. I can go inside after the fire is out, during overhaul, to get pictures, as long as a I have an interior firefighter with me.
