LOCKPORT, N.Y. - In the northtowns, a late Sunday night fire ravaged two Niagara County businesses.

Lockport fire is on the scene Monday morning, trying to determine the cause of the massive fire.

The fire started around 8 p.m. inside the Michigan Street building. News 4's cameras were kept back from the scene. but we could still see smoke pouring out onto Route 31.

Firefighters put the fire out pretty fast, but could not save the building and it collapsed. Some drivers say smoke could be seen some 12 miles away from the 290 and Niagara Falls Boulevard.

The two businesses inside were the Four Seasons Lawn Service and an auto shop. News 4 spoke to an employee from the Four Seasons Lawn Service, here's what he told us. "The guy I work with called me on the phone and told me the building was smoking."

No injuries have been reported. Currently the fire remains under investigation.
