MASSILLON, Ohio - A spokesperson with the Massillon Fire Department confirms to Fox 8 News that there is a massive blaze ongoing at Rohr's Towing on First Street.
The Independent reports that the downtown fire is ripping through two storage facilities owned by Rohr's. Jackson and Perry townships are providing mutual aid.
As of Wednesday morning, there are no reports of any injuries.
The MFD says that a nearby house might have been evacuated.
The Independent says that firefighters have not entered the structure. The fire chief is quoted as saying his crews are waging a "defensive attack" due to concerns that the building(s) in question might collapse.
A viewer sent an e-mail to Fox 8 News suggesting that smoke from the fire could be seen as far away as Canton.
