CARMEL, Ind. - Firefighters are still battling hot spots at a strip mall destroyed by fire overnight.

Fire crews were called out to 106th Street and Michigan Road at around 1:30 a.m.
Despite efforts to put out the flames, the entire strip mall is a total loss.
Damage is estimated at $3 million.
24-Hour News 8 talked with the owner of the strip mall who said he does plan to rebuild as quickly as possible.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but fire investigators are looking into the possibility of lightning being to blame.
