A fire engulfed a Mansion Street house in the City of Poughkeepsie Friday night.
The city fire department could not immediately release details on the fire, citing a memo from Poughkeepsie Mayor John Tkazyik that prohibits them from releasing unapproved information to the media.
The city police department said the call came in at 10:09 p.m.
A city police officer remained stationed outside the charred house at 8 a.m. Saturday.
