Fire Depts. with "Old School Tankers" Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, real trucks.

I was wondering how many Depts. out there are still running "Old School" Tankers. if so I would like to see some pictures.

in our dept we have two 80 model 5000 gallon tankers and a 2001 3500 gallon tanker

We have a 2003 and a 2004 WaterMaster Vacuum tanker(2500 gal each) and a 1989 Kodiac 2000 gal.

We have 3 Macks still in service, 1997 MC Model Mack Engine, 1984 MC Model Mack Pumper/Tanker, 1984 R Model Mack Tanker. To me its not about how good the truck looks or if it has the newest wistles and bells, its how the trucks preform. Were ranked in the top 5 in our county and its because of our guys dedication and the trucks. All pictures were taken by Eric Captos.

My company is still using a 2500 gal. milk tank. It has had a chevy, white and mack under it.

We just retired this old late 60s Binder.

I don't have a pic yet, but we're running a '91 International with a '77 4-Guys 1800 gallon body.

We have 2 tankers T54-1 is a 2002 Western Star with a 4-Guys body holds 4000gal and T54-2 is a 1987 Mack with a front mounted pump and holds 3500

One of our oldest trucks is our tender, it is an 81 Kenworth 4000 gal with a tag axl, it has no jakes and is an auto shift with an old v8 screemen mimi engine. will do a houndred miles an our if would let it but as said no jakes so on our dept only a few people can drive it and most have a cdl or drive trucks for a liven.
