Spontaneous combustion?
My ignition sequential pattern analysis hypotheses is this fire was "Accidental."
Ooh maybe DUMB ASS.
Hangover?
My ex-wife's cooking lol. But on the serious side i do not see any cord,so had to be the gas burner and no pilot light look like electronic ignition burner so some one tried to heat the plastic pot on the burner. so what Jim said plus a big DUH
I think the photograph shows melted aluminum... the plastic is charred and it's interesting that the heat generated from the melting aluminum did not ignite the plastic coffee decanter. Regardless, and as Jeff Foxworthy says, "How do you know they are a redneck?" There's your sign...
this would be a solid cause and determination statement...
As I frequently tell our inspectors when they show up, "I think sumthin' got hot what wasn't s'posed to."
said subject I have assumed was whippin up his morning coffe before he went to work and his wife started to nag him about getting the garbage out because she didn't have time cause bingo was starting in 10 minutes and he turned the right rear burner on to warm up his electric kettle and wha laa there you have it.No coffee!
Electrical Failure. Failed to Plug-It In? 1+1=2
I've seen this before it was...mice with matches!
Id have to say there needs to be a fire in order for a cause and determination to be conducted!!
