FF Nation SPAM/SCAM ISSUE*ALERT

Hey everyone,

There's a Spam/Scam Issue with this site (an apparent Hijack) , as I've been receiving emails from this site, via a supposed Post, that when the link is followed, it is terminated (It takes me to a Page Not Found, but remains on the FF Nation URL). If they can sneak into this site, they can get into your computer (email, passwords, financials and more). When this happened on a music blog I was on, it created all sort of problems. I'm not sure what protections are in place for this site, so it may not be an issue at all.

The person(s) responsible are trying to establish contact via a PRIVATE Hot Mail account to continue their scam. Here's an excerpt:

Hello.
My Name is lissa I was impressed when i saw your profil at www.firefighternation.com
and will like you to email me back to my inbox so that i can send you my picture
for you to know who i am, i belive we can establish a long lasting
relationship with you. In addition,i will like you to reply me through my
private email box (lissa4love_u@hotmail.fr). This is because i dont know the
possibilities of remainning in forum for a long time please reply me to my email
ok. Thanks,waiting to hear from you soonest.

Not sure the ladies of FF Nation have much to worry about...........but you never know...LOL
