NEW YORK - The Fire Department says about 140 firefighters are battling a four-alarm blaze in the Bronx.

Spokesman Frank Dwyer says five civilians have suffered minor injuries.

He says there are flames on the seventh, eighth and ninth floors of the building.

It's at 1882 Grand Concourse, near East Tremont Avenue. That's about a mile north of Yankee Stadium.
