OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City firefighters say one person was killed when flames engulfed a house in eastern Oklahoma County.

Officials say a woman reported Wednesday that her house was on fire and that her husband may have been trapped inside.

Deputy Fire Chief Cecil Clay says once crews brought the blaze under control, they located a body inside the residence.

The name of the victim wasn't immediately released.

Clay says Oklahoma City police detectives are conducting an investigation.
