I was stupid, and under 21, and made a couple fake ids for myself and a couple friends to go to the bars. Somehow a cop came to my house and I ended up admitting that I made a few fake drivers licenses so me and my friends could get into the bars on capus. I and was arrested last year and charged wit a misdemeanor that stated “Illegal/unlawful use of an id card. I didn’t end up getting a conviction because I got court supervision. I was lucky to not have gotten into more trouble and will be graduating next year with a Bachelors Degree in Business with a 3.2 GPA. Other than that incident I am a good kid and involved in many leadership positions at my school.

Is there any chance of me getting hired as a firefighter with my background?

some "kids" make bad decisions when they are forming their personal outlook on life. the important thing to remember is that you messed up and learned the lesson, and from what you wrote i believe that you did. Now i believe the "court supervision" means that as long as you don't do anything else "stupid" in the time frame given to you by the judge, all will be for gotten. (like PBJ in traffic court, probation before judgement) stay on the straight and narrow and be honest to any prospective employer about your past(they will check). congratulations on your degree and good luck in your fire service career!
This may be true and again depends on jurisdictions etc. However, there are questions that are posed such as

"Have you ever used a fake ID" etc...doesnt ask about arrest or conviction. The way I look at all these items is very simple. If you went to court at all...there IS a record of it...to deny it, regardless of disposition could be your end in a testing process. Then when you go to the next process and they ask if you have ever failed a background...well you see the ball rolling dont you?

Backgrounds etc are not made so you will be able to use technicalities. They are made for you to be as honest as possible.
Be honest, upfront and since its a misdemeanor, I would think you should.
I wouldn't be to worried be up front on your application and remember the guys hiring you were young and foolish once, the only difference was you owned up. Take pride in that, and if they don't want you because of it, they never deserved you in the first place. your mischevious deeds are just that. you didn't rob a bank get caught drinking underage or driving so don't sweat it and good luuck
