The ones issued to us are yellow volunteer fire academy helmets in the modern new style. However explorers are not required to wear issued gear, and three of our explorers, including myself, have purchased black traditional style helmets.

Our cadet helmet's color is yellow. When we become a firefighter the helmet are traditional black.

Our juniors and probies helmets are green

I think a Orange Sheild should be the standard on any color hemet.

Our firefighter helmets are yellow, Captains are red...Explorers are black w/ no shield on them.

We have our Junior Members/Explorers were orange helemts so that they will stand out.

i have a black cairns metro, . most others have black metros, too.
our saftey officer has a yello metro
