TERRY, Miss. - The theft of more than $10,000 in equipment from the Terry Volunteer Fire Department appears to be an inside job.

That's according to Fire Chief Eddie Chambless, who says theives stole a vehicle rescue device, saws, fans and truck parts.

The burglary is believed to have occurred between 6 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Chambless told The Clarion-Ledger that the culprits likely had a key because there were no signs of forced entry. The Hinds County sheriff is investigating.
