Hey all Im planning on taking the EMT-B Written test here withing the month and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, or ideas of what the test is like.
So far Ive been doing really well in Knightlites study software, it seems to be fairly indepth, and am doing all right with Id44's practice test. Ive also been reviewing quizzes from the course, as well as the workbook that I purchesed at the time of class.
the national registry consists pretty much of all scenarios. The answers are alot simlar to one another so you will need to take your time and review all of the answers carefully. as long as you study and know your stuff you should be okay.mine didnt really consist of breathing rates and etc but they did aid me in the scenarios. i hope this helps..FYI there are programs you can buy online to help you study them that have questions right off of the registry.GOOD LUCK!!!
I took national registry this morning.... the test wasnt hard...just know all of you vital ranges and ob section there was a lot of that on my test along with geriatrics. hope thats helpful.
Here in Washington State we arre going national next year. I have heard alot of opinions about national registry. I guess we'll see. They were going to do it this year but there was still too many logistical issues to work out. I am an SEI and I have a few issues personally on how they are implementing it here. The greater majority of EMS personnel in this state are rural. Thay have set things up to appease the urban folks only though. Anywho that is a different thread.

I would recommend the website www.emtb.com I used it when I was taking the B course and it had a full practice exam on there. Of course when I took the NREMT-B exam it was still the paper version. I'm not sure what the computer testing is like. Best of luck to you.
